Definately need to go to the doctors to get a proper diagnosis, which involves skin scrapes to be analyzed, then getting the correct medication. I have found this on the net about treating them tho:
"Bedding and clothing should be cleaned and set aside for 48 hours.
A one-time application of Permethrin 5% cream for 8 to 12 hours is recommended. This regimen is safe and effective.
Lindane cream is more toxic than Permethrin and may pose dangerous side effects in children due to potential neurotoxicity.
Benzyl benzoate lotion may also be applied
Corticosteroids may be used for dermatitis (Skin Inflammation) that are caused by scabies"
I personally would prefer going to the doctors than DIY-ing it...

Your scabies problem is a skin disease. Skin disease could not be cured by allopathic medicine and that too by external Application of medicine on skin surface. It can be cured by Homeopathic medicine. I was suffered by skin problem and an insensitive skin spot on my back and frequent skin problem on the bottom of thigh. After many years of treatment taken in modern medicine I changed to Homeo treatment. I got cured. You should meet a good experienced Dr. You should have many physical and mental. symptoms other than the skin problem. If you go with many symptoms it will help to choose the correct medicine. One medicine only chosen for all problems and not like modern medicine which they will give many medicines at a time. Mental symptoms are very important as the medicine character and your character should match. It will take More time and will be cured after all other problems are cured.

Only Permethrin or Lindane is effective. You have to kill the organisms for the rash to disappear.
You can get it as a prescription, and you have to cover yourself with the cream from head to toe for around 8 hours.
