Do I have genital warts or skin tags?

I just made this account.. I have Yahoo account but I don't want to publicly display it.. Anyways..
I'm a virgin. Never had sex. Never had oral or anything to do with sex. I am 19 years old and a female. It first started with a bump sort of whatever on my vagina but near the anus. I thought it was a underground pimple, so I left it alone.. Anyways.. Weeks later more started to grow and now I have a lot.. I've been cutting them off.. sometimes they hurt. They are around my anus.. well i got some off.. Anyways.. I have a doctors appointment next week for a Pap smear.. And I'm really nervous. I cried a week or so ago because what I seem to have looks like genital warts.. And I never had sex never did anything so I don't understand what I have.. They say that genital warts sometimes look cauliflower and bunch up and stuff.. and it looks like what I've got.. So I don't know if they're skin tags or I have HPV.
Serious answers please I'm literally freaking out. My family knows nothing about this.. not even my mother. I'm too afraid to tell her anything.. it's behind close doors for now.. she thinks I'm just getting my flu shot.. And I'm afraid of the outcome.....

Ok, you said you're a virgin but has your genital area ever made contact (just skin touching skin, no penetration) with someone else's genitals? If so, that's how you can get HPV which is what causes genital warts. So you don't even have to have sex with someone to end up with genital warts. I don't see how it's possible for you to get that without any sexual involvement. Are you positive you've never had any? You may have some other thing like an infection. Apr ox how big are these? or perhaps your a rare person who got it without any sexual involvement. Gl with the Smear, hope everything turns out fine. :)

These could be skin tags or simple moles, which are common. Please stop cutting them off, relax, and ask the doctor.
