NO!

Unless, miraculously, someone touched an area of their body infected with herpes, then held your hand, and then the virus survived long enough to wait until you touched either your lips or genitals and it transfered. The chances of that happening are slim.

The chances of contracting herpes from holding hands are so slim it's really not even worth worrying about. The person would almost have to be trying to give it to you.

The herpes virus is extremely weak and cannot survive for very long outside the body. (A few seconds to a minute, maybe?)

And yes, there is an extremely slim, EXTREMELY SLIM, chance that you could get it from sharing a towel with someone but, there again, you would almost have to be trying to get it.

Be very careful with the things you read on the internet. There is some really good information out there, but there is also a lot of bad information too.

no. you get them from sexual contact. even if someone who has herpes and has no sign of a break out you can get it. the other way to get it is by oral sex or touching the soar then an open wound you may have. once you get herpes it is NOT going away you will have it forever. it does not feel good and can be active for a long time. then goes away ect... i work in a dr office and have seen may cases and its not pretty, be careful that doesnt mean you cant have a relationship with someone with it, just use protection

I got diagnosed with herpes type 2 about seven years ago, when I was still in college and had a spupid one-night stand. I know a lot of girls will say this but I swear I never did that sort of thing. I jud made mistake that one time and, suddenly, it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date guys again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her you-know-what? But after a friend share this video https://tr.im/konAA everything has changed. Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the man of my dreams and I`m so blessed to write that just last week, in fornt of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This program gave me back the change to be happy, and to experience true love. Now I want to help you share this the world.

Cold sores are caused by the herpes virus. Many of us already have the cold sore virus dormant in our bodies, and never have a flare up of cold sores. We contracted it as children, as it is a very common virus, and children pick it up easily as they often share food and drinks, and may be less concerned about hand washing and hygiene. Cold sores can be transmitted even when the person does not have a cold sore, though it is less likely to happen then.

remember that you can remove genital warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or cream but genital warts can reappear again and again because genital warts appears when your immune system is weak!

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy.

No. But you can get oral herpes (cold sores) from kissing. If someone has a cold sore and gives you oral sex, you can also contract it (genital herpes) and if someone has genital herpes and makes contact with your vagina/penis you will contract genital herpes.

Lastly, condoms do not always protect you from herpes.

No, you can't but if she has touched them before she held your hand, then you can get them from her hand. From personal experience you can only catch them from having sex together. So if your girlfriend has them then you will eventually catch them anyway when you have sex together, because condoms don't stop you from not getting them.
