Like everyone else has answered really, High cholesterol. Having a healthier, low sodium and low fat diet and exercising regularly, reducing stress in their lives can reduce it. So try and help them and don't stress them out so much because they are obviously getting older and age does have an effect on cholesterol.

These test results mean that both of your parents have high cholesterol. Your mom's is not as bad as your dad's. Your parents need to eat healthy and exercise more. I would recommend a bowl of Cheerios or oatmeal every morning for breakfast, a light salad for lunch, fruit and vegetables for snacks and low fat foods for dinner. Lots of exercise will help too. They don't need to weight lift, but an evening walk or a morning jog will help a lot. You can find plenty of low fat cook books online or in any book store. Just make sure they stick to a diet and exercise regimen. They may also need to be put on medication such as Plavix, or start an Asparin treatment, but they should talk to their doctor about that.

Just explain to your mom the difference between the typo "wh_t" and "wth"... Okay, I'm the parent of two daughters (16 & 21... the 21 yr old lives at home, so lives by OUR rules)... I rarely read their messages, only if there is trouble... since I pay for their phones and am always concerned for my girls Oh, and for the FYI of some of you kids - IF you are on your parent's account... and the parents are SMART and willing to spend $40 and $5/mo, there are options through the phone company and software that allow the parents to see ANY activity on that phone... even if you deleted it off the phone. I get ALL my girls txt messages and it's run through a program that looks for certain words (drug phrases, pregnancy phrases, etc)... and the wife will ONLY look at those messages that contain that sort of stuff. AND we monitor the hours... sleep IS a need

I simply means they have high cholesterol. Normal is below 200. They just need to eat right to help get it down. Nothing to really be alarmed about.

looks like a basic test for some insurance or life insurance. it's a normal test ppl get, it's sometimes called cbc, complete blood count., u see their scores, now check under it what the average is. looks like they may need to start eating alittle bit better
